Martial arts class was GREAT! I only got hurt 3 times, and I think I only hurt my partner once. He kept saying “Harder! Harder!” *Smirk* I was afraid to hurt him, need to work on that. He was the instigator most of the night (the person who loses) I must have knocked him down 150 times. To show me what it was like he knocked me down twice. This is a very physical class, 99% of the time we work with a partner. There is soooo much to learn, but everyone is really really nice. They all keep telling me I will feel like I don’t have a clue what I am doing for a long time but not to give up. Don’t worry, I have no intention of giving up! They are planning a practice session in the park soon. I hope I am invited.

My housemates think a kitten would be good for me. I don’t know if I am ready for the responsibility cause every time they bring it up I feel overwhelmed by the thought . My peeps are sooooo sweet! They always think of me and do the nicest things for me. I love them SO MUCH!!!! My entire schedule is about to change, and I don’t know what that will feel like yet. Maybe after school starts I‘ll feel better about getting a kitten.

Not that my bed is anywhere near big enough….. I wish I had a nice warm body to cuddle up to/sleep with at night. (even a great dane or mastiff would do) After a decade of such it is really really hard to sleep by myself. Actually so far it is impossible. I wonder when I’ll get used to it. No, the kitten doesn’t qualify… too small… squish….!
Nighty! *hugs* kids!

Sorry to be so nosy, but I've been browsing back through your entries and I came upon this one.

It's an odd thing, sleeping alone. I've never been married myself, but I've lived with women for years at a time. The weird thing is, I'd started training myself from my teens years to only sleep on half of the bed. I was always living in the preparation that there was going to be someone else there. Now that there's not again, I don't feel the absence. That half of my bed was always empty before. I've just returned to a very strange state of "normal." :-)

Hope you're sleeping better, Miss Flower.

Cool, since you are being nosy...., it allows me to be:)
Will you tell me how old you are?

You missed the best part of being with a partner..... the cuddling in bed at the end of the day.

I am sleeping somewhat better, but I look forward to the cuddling for sure, that’s a fact.

Hi, sorry for the lag in my response!

I'm 39. I'll be 40 in December. :-) How old is your son?

And, no... I wouldn't say I missed it. I mean... I MISS it, yes, but I wasn't unaware of its awesomeness while I had it. :-)

I work away from home on a 48 hour shift, I don't give quick replies so I don't expect them either.

My son is 19, I was pretty young when he blessed my life. He is one of my very best friends:)
